The residential neighborhood of Sifton Park, part of the greater Clareview area of northeast Edmonton, shares its name with the park located in the middle of the neighborhood. Most of the homes in the area are located east of the centrally-located Sifton Park, although a few streets are west of the park and must be accessed from 50 St, the area’s western border. To the south, the neighborhood overlooks Kennedale Ravine which runs east towards Hermitage Park and the North Saskatchewan River valley.
Transportation to other areas of the city from Sifton Park can be quickly accessed along 137 Ave, connecting to the west with the Manning Freeway and to the Yellowhead Freeway via 50 St or by travelling west along 137 Ave and then south along Victoria Trail. In a few years, the Anthony Henday Drive’s northeast section will be completed and offer even quicker access to other areas of Edmonton. The Clareview LRT station is also located within walking distance north of 137 Ave and Clareview Town Centre..
